Belles_Toaster
Hello this is my first post here. I had the experience of transfering photos to a vista computer with 1 gb of corsair value ram pc-3200 and a mobile athlon @ 2.4 mghertz. Vista wanted to use the spare memory to speed it up. With this system it appeared to run faster. The sd card was ATP 150X through a USB 2.0 adapter. I want to buy a dedicated stick but wonder given the number of choices and sizes (1-4gb) is there a "sweet point`. My computer runs xp with 2048 xms pc5400 and C2D 4400 ,If its vista, I wonder would it have a different sweet point of diminishing returns. I guess a dedicated card would last longer given that it was built for constant activity rather than the sd card.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 8, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 8, 2007 1-2.0 Gig seems to be the sweet spot for Ready Boost I would suggest our Turbo Flash drives for that use.
