BlackCross
Hi, Been out of system building for a while. I am building a intel core2 system and I am confused about what ram to get for this board. I just want to stick the ram in and go, not really into overclocking. Should I buy this TWIN2X2048-8500C5D or TWIN2X2048-6400C4? If I can't use the 1066 sticks should I wait until the new Intel P35 chipsets? Is the speed increase worth it? Or should I get a 680i chipset? Thank you in advance for any advice you might have!! Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 4, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 4, 2007 With P5W-DH I would suggest Twin2x2048-6400C4DHX as the best choice and if you use the newer Chipset I would suggest Twin2x2048-8500C5D
BlackCross
Thank you very much for taking the time to respond ramguy! :) Yeah, I think I'm going to go with either the asus or hybrid ddr/ddr3 gigabtye p35 boards. Thanks again.
