RMA without invoice

I receive as a gift 2x1Gb CMX1024-3200 (XMS3200v5.1) 3-3-3-8 memory about 7-months ago

from my brother, who bought this memory in US Newegg shop, and send me as a Christmas gift


after installation both memory on motherboard, all working almost well, only sometimes blue screen happend, but all time I thinking it is something other than memory.

Just few days ago I want to check why this blue screen happend, and I discover that one of this memory is fail, when i leave inside one of this memory system doesnt start, on second is working correctly (blue screen not repeating)


so my question is can I complete RMA for one of this memory (second is oki, and I use them) even if i havent invoice from Newegg, this was a gift,

and send it to you to replace it ?

Please makes sure that you have the latest BIOS and load setup defaults and then set the Dim Voltage to 2.75 volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and then test the module/modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.
