deathcube
ok, thats one problem resolved. next, bios shows the ram as 5-5-5-18 while the ram is 4-4-4-12. after changing voltage and timings i get repeated blue screens. after swapping positions of sticks then using one at a time i found one defective stick. memtest confirmed this. the real question now is to return both sticks or one? will a different stick run at correct timings or is it a motherboard issue? thanx again for the help. deathcube
ok one more question. do both sticks have to be replaced at the same time? this would leave me without a system for however long it takes to ship them then have them shipped back from you. can i return the completely non-working one now then the wrong timing one when i receive the first replacement? this would be much better for me. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 4, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 4, 2007 Yes you should submit them as one Twin2x2048 set and set both modules, so they match.
