CMX512-3200C2PRO Two Bad Sticks

Recommended Posts

Both of my RAM Modules run with errors, when both sticks are installed at the same time and individually. CPU is AMD 3500+ 2.2ghz with no overclocking. Motherboard is MSI SLI Platinum. Setting are on auto now (8-3-3-3 2T), the board will not post when I set the ram timings manually. With one stick installed the ram wil run at 400mhz, with both at 333mhz. Ive RMA the motherboard and CPU and the RAM has never ran stable. It does the same thing in my DFI board. Ive got a picture of memtest running and bios screen with settings. Im running memtest on the second stick of ram now so I can take a picture of it failing which I will add in the next couple of hours.

I get the same results with my DFI board and NF2 board I have. They always under clock to 333mhz when running as pair. Wont post if settings are manually changed. I havent memtested it on these two boards, becuase I have stable ram running on them. I gave up on this ram and shelved it well over a year ago, until now. I spent to much money on it for no usage.
