jlewismoss
i have the pair of memory modules. Here's what happens in each situation with module1, module2 and slot1/slot2 (dual channel) slot3/slot4. module 2 seems bad. module2-slot1 or slot3 module1-slot2 or slot4 i get to bios and can boot into memtest86+ but it has major problems (looks like high bit has gone bad since expected value is ffffffff and value is 7fffffff). module1-slot1 module2-slot2 Doesn't even get to bios module1-slot1 Get to memtest and so far everything is going well. 37% done no errors. module2-slot1 Get to memtest, but errors as above (indicating high bit gone bad) So is there anything else i should check? I've messed with the timings currently 3338 2T. Set to 3448 2T no change. Since this is a matched pair do they both need to be replaced at once? Is corsair still producing this memory? jlewismoss
I need my machine to continue working and I have one (of two) functioning sticks. Can I get replacement memory (possibly paying for it and being reimbursed when the bad memory is recieved) before sending the bad memory back? Thanks Jim
