SDraconis
After getting some stability issues with Windows, I decided to test my two of the aforementioned modules out in MemTest86. With them both together on Dual Channel, I started getting errors, so I proceeded in testing them individually. Both sticks have gotten errors, though at different points. My methodology is to test each in the same slots, and then switch to a different slot and test each there. P4P800 Deluxe Motherboard, running 2-3-3-6 @ 2.75 volts. Any ideas before I send in an RMA request? (I personally find it hard to believe that both sticks could be bad, but I guess anything is possible). As a note, I can't find the original packaging. Will that be a problem?
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted May 29, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 29, 2007 Did you load setup defaults and Disable Legacy USB first before you set the settings when you ran http://www.memtest.org?
SDraconis
Yes, I did load defaults beforehand just in case. I am not having the problem caused by USB legacy. Also, I chose to use the newest of the original branch of Memtest86 as opposed to Memtest86+.
