Furry_Oz
Im about to Cry!:(: I have lost the 4x plastic motherboard retention clips for the Nautilus 500 system. Anyone know where I can get replacement for these. Otherwise the whole thing is useless. I think the technical term for them in the manual is ( 4 pc. standoff) :-) Thanks for you help. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 4, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 4, 2007 If you are talking about the bracket that comes with the Kit then you can ask our customer service, but if you are talking about the bracket that is on the MB then I am not sure where you can get it. You can send an email to warranty@corsairmemory.com and ask them but include your Name Address and Phone number in the mail.
stev
Furry Oz, If you have an INTEL socket-T LGA-775, then check out this link for the four plastic hold-down clips. These are the official OEM clips. Best of all, they are only $2 from Intel. However, the shipping cost is a little more. ;) So buy two packs instead. One to use and the other as a spare. :) http://shop.intel.com/shop/product.asp?pid=SIPS1052&pfid=116&pindex=1&mscssid=78D2EFD2VXPC8K6T73HFRDK7JJ6GC735 http://shop.intel.com/shop/product/images/SIPS1052_L.jpg Peace! stev
Those standoffs look similar to the http://www.microplastics.com products found here: https://secure.microplastics.com/detail.aspx?fam=1&part=94&sec=%ee%82%bd%ef%85%85%ea%99%a8%ef%99%8c%ed%90%a0%ea%9b%a3%e2%a0%96%e7%99%92 There are a half dozen companies that make these products globally. Many can be purchased off of the internet for a few dollars if a handful is needed. Peace! Stev
asutherl3443
I actually have a similar situation to the original poster. I was just wondering if something such as nylon screws would be an acceptable alternative for mounting the bracket as opposed to the 4 clips? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 3, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 3, 2007 Yes that would work, in fact we used screws when we developed the unit.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 3, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 3, 2007 NP actually if there is a hardware store that caters to hobbyist you can can just about any thing you need, I would run the screw from the bottom up and use a screw to hold them in place and then use another screw to secure the bracket.
