rajil_s
I have been successfully running my asus P5b based computer with Corsair 520 for few months now. Today, i had restart my computer and now it doesnt turn on. On switching on the power supply, the onboard LED on the motherboard lights up. However, the fan on the powersupply doesnt spin and neither does the computer boot up. Is the powersupply dead? Should the powersupply fan spin even when not attached to the motherboard? Garvin
With the supply unplugged from the wall, try reseating the case's power switch lead connector that's currently attached to the appropriate motherboard pins. Sometimes enough oxidation, thus resistance, can build up that the board can't detect the momentary short that happens when you hit the case's power switch.
