steven_l
Hi, I have an imac core 2 duo. right now, i have 1.25g of ram consisting of VSA1GSDS667D2 and a piece of the orig 256 mb ram from apple. I like to know whether adding another one of these versus VS1GSDS667D2 will make a difference in speed or will there be a compatibly problem? There is a price difference btwn both. thx
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 23, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 23, 2007 I would suggest using only the memory that is listed for your system.
steven_l
I have a 17" iMac Core 2 Duo. RIght now I have 1.25 Gig of ram consisting of 256 MB original from Apple and 1 pc of VSA1GSDS667D2. I like to add another gig. I see the non Apple specific RAM for sale for $ 44. Does it make a difference if I mix the 2? Will there be compatbility issues? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 24, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 24, 2007 They may have the same spec but they are not the same part. I would suggest using only the memory that is listed for your system.
