RMA Question

Hello. I recently purchased an HX520 because I had read about how quiet it is. Upon installation I was disappointed. Until that point, the loudest part of my system was a 120mm Tri-Cool fan on the low setting. The PSU I received is definitely a bit louder than the fan. Most HX520 owners tell me that this should not be the case. Is this adequate enough reason for an RMA? I don't want to send this into Corsair and have them tell me there's nothing really wrong with it and end up being stuck with a lackluster power supply AND shipping costs for the RMA attempt. Thanks for any responses.

Our PSU is one of the most quiet units on the market, are you sure that its not coming from another fan in your system? I have no problem replacing the PSU for you, but I would suggest testing it in another system to be sure its not something else, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it.
