Water Cooling - Cool byCorsair (CWC100)

Recommended Posts

I purchased a "cool by Corsair" water cooling kit and have a question on installing the "RadBox" to the back of my case. I intend to put the RadBox on the exterior in the exhaust opening that previously had a 120mm case fan. Problem, I have a LianLi case, model PC-V1100BPlus II. This is a "reverse" or BTX type case with the power supply on the bottom and PCI slots on the top. If I put it in the previous exhaust case fan spot, the "2 barbs" must face "up" as the 2 tubings coming from the CPU block and pump will come from a PCI slot which will be directly over the RAdBox. Will the system work with the RadBox turned upside down with the barbs facing up? All instuctions show the barbs facing down with the tubing below it. My guess is it won't work in the case as the barbs need to be facing down for gravity to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't intend to try this unless I know this setup will work as I to try running something that won't work.

Thank you.
