Voltage and IC info on the new 4gig (2x2g) Dominator 6400C5

Flanno

Recommended Posts

Just ordered this 4gig kit and the advertising on the site I bought it says it runs at 1.9 to 2.1v and has EPP support.

What is the recommended voltage for overclocking with these. I assume 2.1 ? And any idea who makes the IC's. I know it's not Micron.

thanks

I will post the information later in DDR II IC Inquiry But yes they are at the moment made with Micron 1G IC's tested at 800MHz, 5-5-5-15, 1.9V On ASUS M2N32 or P5B. Twin2x4096-6400C5DHX

Thanks.

Just to confirm I purchased the following :

Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator DHX PC2-6400C5 TwinX (2x2GB)

Not Twin2x4096-6400C5DHX as you mentioned below which is the 8gig kit.

Still Micron IC's ?

I wonder will they work fine on the new Asus P5K Deluxe Intel P35 board ?

cheers

That is a 4.0 Gig Kit 2-2.0 Gig modules! Twin2x4096-6400C5DHX

The sample I have seen DDR3 only! But I would go with DDR3 with that MB for best performance.

Thanks for the info. I misread earlier and thought Twin2x4096 was 2x4096, 8gigs :)

Looks like I will be running these now in an Asus P5N32-E SLI (680i) or EVGA 680i. Hope they work. At least they support low voltages which these boards tend to need to bootup.

thanks
