as a sign of gratitude and thanks to corsair for resolving my problem on my case badge,

here i guess is an answer to all minds inquiring if the Corsair 620HX can really handle 2 Nvidia 8800GTX SLI in a system

Test SYtem:

QX6700 overclocked watercooled to 3.5GHz,

8800 GTX SLI.

A single Raptor X drive,

an external USB DVD drive,

a modified DDCT-01 water pump from Petra’s Tech Shop

2x 120mm Fans

Conclusion:

At this point, I had some serious doubt that this was going to work. After digging through all of my cables I found a pair of molex to PCI-E cables and set out to get it all hooked up. After crossing my fingers and saying a little prayer, I pressed the power button and the system booted right up with no drama at all! After enabling SLI and rebooting I fired up 3DMark06 expecting to have a crash soon after. Surprisingly, I am still waiting for that crash now and it’s been nearly 2 weeks. I've spent a fair bit of that time gaming in Battlefield 2, Counter Strike: Source, Half-Life 2: Episode 1, Rainbow Six: Vegas, and Supreme Commander all at 2560x1600 resolution

Excellent news dude. I am hoping to run this psu with a qx6700 on air clocked to around 3.3, 2xgtx's in sli, 4gig (2x2) 6400 Dominator kit. However I will be running 4xsata drives, 2 opticals, X-Fi and TV Tuner. Hopefully it will manage.

What are your noise levels like...does the fan on the PSU run at full whack all the time ?
