spikeh
I have 2 sticks of CMX512-3200C2PT which I had in my desktop, which I decided to stick in my other system with an ASRock K8Upgrade-VM800. The computer refuses to POST with these modules in, either each on their own or together. My older generic A-Data DDR400 CL2.5 sticks seem to work fine. So I retested these in my desktop system and now my desktop isn't POSTing either. One module just completely refuses to POST while the other throws a BIOS ROM error. This TOTALLY freaked me out, so I returned my original RAM and (luckily) there's nothing wrong with my system. What's wrong with the memory? Don't tell me using them in the ASRock K8Upgrade-VM800 broke it? Could I possibly RMA the memory?
