I can run these sticks in single-channel mode to 1150Mhz @ 5-5-5-15 2T, 2.2v.

In dual channel mode, the highest I've gotten was 970 MHz when running the cpu @ 7x multi-, but when running the cpu at stock 9x multi-, the memory won't even hit 800Mhz. 770 MHz is the max.

So ... why is it rated 1066Mhz - are you supposed to run your board @ 533 fsb?? And ... it runs fine @ 1150 Mhz, but only in single channel mode. What gives?

If there's a way to get them to run dual-channel to their rated speed, please let me know how. If not, please let me know I should RMA the set.

Thank you.

Found that changing the BIOS memory setting from sli disable to "enable" and "expert mode" solved all my problems. Can now run the RAM dual-channel with any overclock (up to 3.925GHz) @ 900MHz 4-4-4-12 1T or about 1100Mhz 5-5-5-15 2T. Either way gives about the same memory throughput as measured by Everest - almost 11,000MB/s at a maximal overclock, about 10,000 MB/s at a lower overclock, 3.4 GHz.

When running in single channel mode was only able to get about 8400 MB/s even running the RAM @ 1150 Mhz 5-5-5-12 2T.
