Hi i recently purchased a hx 520w from ebuyer.com (uk).

Everything looks ok and i am going to build my system today BUT the power socket (the cable you plug into an outlet) has 2 pins on it which is like the american power system. here in the uk our power outlets consist of 3 pins and not 2 pins.

the psu box says it can handle 90-240+ voltage so would it be ok if i used a power cable from a previous psu and plugged it into this?

i really need to know this, the last thing i need is to fry my computer

Yes, any cable you have should work fine. Normally we supply the UK plug instead of the EU or US plugs for the UK market, I'm sorry you got the wrong one.
