calliope Posted May 3, 2007 Share Posted May 3, 2007 I have an Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard with 2 GB RAM (TWIN2X2048-6400C4) running at 800 MHz 4-4-4-12-2T (2.1 V). This works great. I now want to add memory (up to MoBo limit of 8 GB) and want to know what configurations I could use. Obviously another similar pair should be OK, within my budget, and would give me 4 GB - this means though, that I would have to ditch units when my needs/avail. cash increase. Are there any 2x 2 GB module pairs that would work with my exisiting setup to give 6 GB? I'm happy with the performance I'm getting now and would be reluctant to compromise this by mixing incompatible modules. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have also seen suggested somewhere that it is possible to reconfigure the settings to allay this. Is it actually possible to run 4x 1GB 6400C4 modules at 800 MHz on the M2N32 board?
