CMX1024-3200C2PT matched pair bad-request RMA

Recommended Posts

I was running a matched pair of CMX1024-3200C2PT on my DFI Lanparty UT CFX3200-DR when my video display started blanking out and then blue screened. I was able to restart a couple of more times for short periods. I suspected my video card, so I swapped with no changes. I changed cables and even went as far as to attempt a reload of my OS. system errored out during OS load. attempted multiple HD's both IDE and SATA no change. obtained older matched pair of pc3200 512MB memory and system was then able to load with no glitches. After system stable-shut down, attempted to install CMX1024 in secondary slot and system would not boot. removed and booted fine. I have the latest bios installed and settings are auto, I have not modified any of the default settings.

Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have (Cass 2-3-3-6), and then test the module/modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. In addition, with this MB you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
