franklin84
Hello! I've got an Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe Mainboard with the latest Bios version (1013). My CPU is a AMD Athlon XP-M 2800+ running at 11x182 MHz FSB  I tried to install 2 Corsair CMX1024-3200Pro but it won't work! Everytime I get Blue Screens at the end of boot process or on Windows desktop. Can someone tell me optimal Bios-settings for these memory sticks?? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 1, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 1, 2007 Please install the modules in slots 2-3 and then go to Bios setup and load setup defaults and set these settings. CPU Freq: 166 MHz System Performance: User Define Memory Frequency: 100% Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts Resulting Frequency: 166MHz Memory Timings: Manual/User Define SDRAM CAS Latency: 2.5T SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3T SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 7T SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 7T Then if you over clock the closer you get to DDR400 you will need to relax the timings to Cas 3 and I would set the memory voltage to 2.8 Volts and lower the CPU miltiplier if your CPU is unlocked. franklin84
Thx for this fast reply! I'll try this out! My CPU is unlocked. Normally the multiplicator is 14, if I overclock I use 11.
