RMA for defective module

I installed Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4 2GB Kit DDR2800 XMS2 into a Asus P5B motherboard and believe one of the modules is defective.

The system won't boot up with both sticks installed. If I remove (call them stick A and B) stick B, the system boots up. If I remove stick A and put in stick B, the system still fails to boot. I have tried this many times and always receive the same results.

Therefore I think "stick B" is bad. If I request an RMA, is it possible to only send in one 1GB stick (the bad one) from the 2GB kit so I can still use my computer during the return process?

Thanks!
