Colescuttle
After a lot of research, I put together a new desktop built around an 2.6G Athlon 64 X2 processor. I will use this desktop extensively in my small business, and reliability is essential, so I chose both Corsair memory and an HX520 power supply. Yesterday I completed the rig and fired her up. Nada. Nothing. Not a click, buzz, hum or squeak. I tried several outlets that I knew were live, all with the same results. Did I get a DOA power supply, and should I reconsider my choice of Corsair, or is there a possibility that something else is amiss? This is my third custom build, and I've never had any problems beyond DOA hard disks (Never, never buy Maxtor! Should I regard Corsair with the same suspicion?). Thanks.
