N_E_R_O_N
I replaced my Chieftec PSU (model 400W) with PSU Corsair HX620W. Everything is working fine, but the PSU is very very hot when i play games (side panel of my case Chieftec LBX is opened all time). Even if i do nothing on computer the psu is little hot. The fan is spining. I have no trouble with my Chieftec PSU! :[pouts: Any Oppinion?
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 28, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 28, 2007 Are you sure the heat is coming for the PSU and not maybe the CPU or Video cards?
N_E_R_O_N
Yes i'm sure. CPU temperature is max 50c on max load. I put two fans (9cm) on my side of case. Now, situation is much better.:):
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted May 5, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 5, 2007 The CPU's do run hotter than before, and from what I have seen that is about normal 35-55 Deg C.
