I bought these memory stick for my computer about a year ago. but I had them checked out and the tech said I have bad memory just at the end. It causes my computer to freeze or shut down all on its own.

 

these are my components

AMD Sempron 3300+ Socket A CPU

 

EPOX EP-8KRAI Pro Via Socket A ATX Motherboard / Audio / AGP 8X / 10/100 Ethernet LAN / USB 2.0 / Serial ATA

Okia / 450-Watt / ATX / 80mm Fan / 20/24-Pin / Power Supply

 

Western Digital 7200 rpm 180 gig

Please make sure that you have the latest bios and then load setup defaults and set the Dim Voltage to 2.75 volts and then test the module/modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.
