sportsking
I have an ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe (Wireless Edition) motherboard and 2 1GB sticks of Corsair CM2X1024A-6400C4 that are set to operate at 800MHz at the low latencies of 4-4-4-12. My CPU is the AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core AM2 3800+ (65w). If I have my Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4 in the recommended Dual-Channel DIMM slots (DIMM_A1 & DIMM_B1 - the yellow slots), my system will not post. The only way I can get my system to post is if I put the memory in DIMM_B1 & DIMM_B2 (Single-Channel). For some reason I can't get the system to boot using Dual-Channel. I thought it might be a problem with my memory, so I bought another pair (exact same model). The 2nd pair had the very same problem. I even replaced my motherboard, video card, power supply, and processor, but I still have the same problem I played around with the settings in the BIOS and set it to some of the recommendations I have found in this forum, but I still can't get it to post using Dual-Channel. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 21, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 21, 2007 I would contact the MB maker and ask them about this, and I would make sure you have the latest bios and then try the modules in slots A2 and B2.
