warhascome
Ok, I sent an email yesterday asking this question, but I will ask here. Probably get a faster answer. I have two 8800GTX in SLI mode. I do have one of the mother boards listed as being compatible with your dual water block. Will they work with the 8800GTX SLI? or are you planning on making a new version of the existing one. I do have 768 Ram on mine so there is more memmory blocks then normal. Would love to get a set if it will work. Thanks for any infor in advance. War. JonKrmr
That block does not support the new 8800 GTS or GTX models. You will need to go to Koolance or Danger Den to get a water block that fits the 8800GTX. I'm sure Corsair will develope and market a water block for the 8800 series, its' just a matter of when. warhascome
I kind of figured that. But only problem is the other two are totally sold out so was looking into other options. It does look pretty close to the other two but only Corsair would be able to say yes it will work, or no it won't. So, I think I will hopefully get a reply from them in this post or in my email I sent out on Wednesday. But thanks for the comment and bump. JonKrmr
I will tell you right now that the Corsair water block will not fit the 8800 series. The board layouts between the two (7900 series / 8800 series) are completely different which means the mounting points for the cooler are different between the two. I know Corsair is going to say the same thing. Look at pictures of Danger Den's Koosha (7900 series) and their 8800 series water blocks, they look very different. If you can look at good enough pictures of the two, you will see that the mounting holes between the two are very different also. As far as I have seen here in the US, Koolance and Danger Den are the only two who have 8800 series full coverage water blocks for sale to the retail public at this time. I would guess that is why they are out of stock on their web pages. Here is a link to Corsair's product pager for their water block: http://www.corsair.com/corsair/nautilus_gpu_blocks.html and here is one for Danger Den's block: http://www.dangerden.com/store/product.php?productid=257&cat=89&page=1 If you look at the pictures you will notice that the two blocks are completely different, not even close to each other.............
