BIOS Settings for ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe & 3GB 3200 C2PT

I have an ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe mobo and 3 GB Corsair RAM: (1) TWINX2048-3200C2PT and (1) CMX1024-3200C2PT.

 

My goal is to get the system with 3 GB RAM working reliably. Overclocking or top RAM & CPU speeds are not critical.

 

The two TWINX RAMs are labelled "XMS3202V8.1 07090874-0"

 

The other single RAM is labelled "XMS3202V1.3 07061065-0"

 

Question 1: are the three RAM strips listed above compatible with each other? That is, assuming I can set the BIOS correctly, should these three RAM strips work together?

 

The Ram Guy suggested: "You may also try lowering the memory frequency to 83% and changing the memory timings to (CAS 2.5 - tRCD 3 - tRP 3 - tRAS 7)"

 

Question 2: any more suggestions for BIOS settings? Should I up the Dim voltage to 2.7?

With 2 modules in slots 2-3 the settings should be:

CPU Freq: 200 MHz

System Performance: User Define

Memory Frequency: 100%

Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts

Resulting Frequency: 200 MHz

Memory timings: Manual

Would results in these settings

SDRAM CAS Latency: 2.5T

SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3T

SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 3T

SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 6T

Graphics Aperture Size is 128 MB

 

With Three modules I would use these settings:

CPU Freq: 200 MHz

System Performance: User Define

Memory Frequency: 83%%

Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts

Resulting Frequency: 166 MHz

Memory timings: Manual

Would results in these settings

SDRAM CAS Latency: 2.5T

SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3T

SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 3T

SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 6T

Graphics Aperture Size is 128 MB
