bruceb3
I just installed my Nautilus 500 on my Opteron 185 dual-core. With the stock air cooler, I was running at 50C. I'm now down to 40C. Woohoo! I want to put a waterblock on my 7900GS OC AGP video card to quiet it down. I didn't realize how loud it was until I got rid of the stock cpu air cooler. I'm looking at the Zalman GWB3 because its aluminum like the radiator. Do I need to put a waterblock on the ram chips or can I just put ramsinks on them? I know there's 8 on the frontside of the card. Does anybody know if there's ram chips on the backside of a 7900GS? I don't overclock my video card anyway. Thanks! JonKrmr
You can use heat sinks on your ram and on that card there is only the eight ram chips on the front. Keep in mind that your CPU temp will rise a little when you put your GPU in the water loop.
