1 Bad out of a Twin (CM2x1024-6400C4)

Hiya, I have a bad stick of RAM. It was working fine up until today when I shut down my computer to go to a LAN Party. I had a Memory error when windows was shutting down, and the next time I tried to boot it would no longer post and the motherboard just kept beeping at me. I tried some stuff until I got to the ram, and when I pulled out my second stick then the computer would boot fine. I tried puting the bad stick into a different slot (to test one of the other slots out and see if it may have been a connection issue). It posted, but hung on the bios memory test.

I believe it's safe to say that this stick is bad. Other one is doing fine though considering I'm writing this up on the same computer, just with half the ram hehe. I would like to be able to get this RMA'd if possible please.

Thanks,

Kraig

Please make sure that you have the latest bios and then load setup defaults and set the Dim Voltage to 2.1 volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and then test the module/modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. In addition, with this MB you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
