ByteMe
My rig is almost a clone of poster Gaius Baltar here: http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58761 Ran single bad module with RAM Dude's instructions: Please make sure that you have the latest bios for your MB and then load optimized defaults and set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts and then set the timings to 2-3-2-6 (CAS-tRCD-tRP-tRAS) and then test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! Please allow memtest to run 2-3 passes on each module. Results are errors and any attempt to boot gets a BSOD System runs fine on single 3200C2PRO The Good:It lasted 4 years longer than it's twin that was replaced with CMX512-3200C2PRO The Bad:I can't find it's dead twin from 4 years ago The Ugly:Not sure if a single twinx is replaceable and not sure i want to go through the same Baltarian hassle(which is one reason why i didn't do this 4 years ago)
