Legionx
For awhile i have being getting random blue screens of death every now and then. I'm using Windows Vista Premium edition 64 bit i have being getting blue screens for Memory Management and IRQL Not Less Or Equal. The Motherboard I am using is the Asus Striker Extreme with Corsair Dominator Duel Channel PC2-6400 CAS4 800Mhz 2x1024. Now i have being reading posts about improper voltages can cause these problems when I monitored my system memory in BIOS it was at 1.87v and all over voltage settings are set to auto. What settings should i change to make my system stable?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 12, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 12, 2007 Can you tell me our modules part# and all of our DDR2 memory modules would have a minimum suggested voltage of 1.9 Volts minimum, in the case of CM2X1024-6400C4D the Voltage should be set to 2.1 Volts. And the IRQ error please check http://www.microsoft.com/technet for a update to correct that, but to be sure you should be using http://www.memtest.org to test the modules. Legionx
Looking at the website i bought the RAM from http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2583140&Tab=0&NoMapp=0 My Ram is the CM2X1024-6400C4D 4-4-4-12. So do i just go into AI over voltage and switch auto to 2.1 volts or should other settings be changed to?
