Bad 1GB kit of 8500

Recommended Posts

I have a 1GB kit of CM2X512-8500 that will not post in an ASUS 680I, EVGA 680I, P5B-DX, COMMANDO or ASUS 590 Board.

I have tried different dimms and re-seating the memory, reseting BIOS,

and can not get the ram to post.

safe to assume its time for an RMA?

RMA Number: 1006534

Can i send in the single stick of 6400C4D? as the system has no available replacement memory and only 1 stick was DOA

it has been nearly a month since i opened the RMA would i be needing a new RMA # or can i still use the one listed above?

I have also not heard back on RMA Number: 1006422 in which the Items were shipped out almost a month ago.
