dukeisduke
I have a 4Gb Flash Voyager USB 2.0 key (CMFUSB2.0-4GB) that has gone bad. Suddenly, it was no longer recognized by the operating system (XP Pro SP2), and the clean command in Diskpart says it is "locked". Trying to format it returns the error message "The disk is write protected.". Also, when plugged into a USB port, the LED flashes rapidly. Where do I go from here? dukeisduke
I never got a reply back on my RMA form, and I don't have the information. Do I need to file again? I have a brand new 512MB that just died as well. I'm also noticing that newer 512MB Flash Voyagers are running extremely slow (over two minutes to copy a 266MB file from a 5400RPM hard drive over USB 2.0). Why are the new ones so slow? hapi2cu
My pen was doing this for some time and started to get wobbly in the USB slot, even though I treated it very carefully. Today it just separated from the plastic with the metal usb part left in the slot. I managed to download my data - but its only a matter of time before it malfunctions - seems like a design fault? I need an RMA to get it replaced as I use it for critical storage because I thought it would last forever and recommended corsair to others - now I need t warn them it will fall apart! Can you sort this quickly please. hapiless
