Brown0
Hey there, I have been reading many threads and documents including the user manual of the Nautilus 500 that I have recieved today and every time it says you should top the coolant off with "distilled water". After looking around for the past week or so at many shops and garages I can only find "de-ionised water" . Is there any difference between the two? And also would it harm, or void the warranty of the unit, by using this in my Nautilus 500? Thanks for any help guys, Martin.

There should be distilled water there. If you cant find it, all you have to do is ask a store worker.
KaptCrunch
A de-ionizing column will not remove nonionic organic substances from the water. Distillation removes both ionic and nonionic organic contaminants. yes better to use distilled water to keep out growth.

I have asked, in all of the shops and they just pointed me to the de-ionised and said they don't sell distilled. yes better to use distilled water to keep out growth. The de-ionised that i have says on the bottles "Prevents furring & Scale formation", good enough? I really can't get distilled water around here. Stater Bros? All of these carry distilled water. I had no problem finding these. Arrowhead and so does other bottled water companies. Tell you what, if you REALLY cant find it, just pay me shipping, and I will buy you a bottle free of charge.
