gonegator Posted April 8, 2007 Share Posted April 8, 2007 Just saw a note on the evga site about certain 'high end' DIMMs failing on the 680i chipset after running at 2.4V for awhile. gonegator Posted April 8, 2007 Author Share Posted April 8, 2007 For clarification's sake, I have to set VDIMM to 2.4V to get the advertised timings of 3-4-3-9 to work. Ram Guy (or anyone for that matter :) - am I correct in that you don't recommend going any higher than 2.1V for these sticks? On a related note, any idea why CPU-Z says my memory's running at 400MHz instead of 800?
