jlamonaco
Hello, I have a recent build which I have upgraded the memory to run dual channel. However, I am having problems doing just that. The memory will only be recognized when in single. I've tried every combination, both sticks work in every combination except when I run them in 2 different channels. When in dual channel, the PC will not post. I've tried everything I can think of including bare minimum components out of the case and flashing to the latest BIOS. Any thoughts/help is appreciated. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 10, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 10, 2007 You should use slots 1/3 or 2/4 for dual channel.
jlamonaco
Thanks for the reply. As stated in my original post, I've tried every combination, including 1/3 and 2/4. The PC will only post when they are both in the same channel or run 1 stick at a time.
