Janizary
Just a quick question on RAM timing and compatibility: I bought another set of TWIN2X2048-6400 a week back at a good price point while waiting for the Asus Q965 board to come in stock at the 'egg. (Using a set on my P5B-E and love it, as usual, Go Corsair!) Since the Asus Q965 board seems to be perpetually out of stock, I ended up getting an ASUS P5L-VM 1394 945G motherboard (to reuse a 250G IDE HDD just gathering dust). My question is: Will I have any issues with the new DDR2-800 set running on the 945G chipset (DD2-667 limit)? If it will be fine, any suggestions on the timing setup at DDR2-667? Thanks, all. (EDIT) Sorry, I see the memory configurator says it will be fine. In that case, any suggestions on timing, etc., at DDR2-
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted March 30, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 30, 2007 Just set the timings to "By SPD" and set the memory frequency at 266 MHz or DDR533 and you should be good to go!
