Thorin2001
Hey RAM GUY! I bought a Twin-Set of CM2X1024-6400-Modules with my new PC. When I bought it, I really had problems installing progs. I downloaded memtest86+ v1.70 and tried it. Many errors on one of the modules. I changed slots, tried only one module and it worked. Opend BIOS and saw, all RAM-settings were AUTO. So I searched this forum for help and set the RAM to 5-5-5-12 1,9 Volts. No change. I tried 5-5-5-15 and 5-5-5-18. Didn't help. Any idea if it is a settings-prob, or is one of my modules faulty? Any help would be appreciated! Thx! Oh, my system: Asus P5B deluxe Intel E6600 2,4GHz Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400 MSI 7600GT System is not overclocked! Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted March 26, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 26, 2007 I would try the memory voltage at 2.0 Volts and if that does not solve the problem, let's get them replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them or it.
