4GB file size limit on FlashVoyager 16GB?!

I just got the FlashVoyager 16GB and am shocked to discover I cannot copy a file larger than 4GB to it! This is an ancient limit that has long since been resolved on hard drives. Why on Earth would a flash device have the old 4GB limit? Is there a way around this?

Please try and do this under a command prompt:

Format (X:) /FS:NTFS /U (X=the drive letter assigned to the Flash Voyager)

And no it will not hurt the performance, in some cases it will improve.

Hi RAM Guy.

Thanks for you help.

First I set My Computer->System Properties->Device Manager->Disk Drives->Corsair Drive->Optimized for Performance=YES, then the NTFS format worked.

Transfer 7.5GB file between Windows 2003 Server RAID 5/SATA I disks(x3) and Corsair NTFS 16GB key:

Host to Key = 15 mins

Key to Host = 10 mins
