Carson
Hello, I have been having intermittent trouble with my machine since Day 1 and finally decided to take it into CompuSmart to have one of their technicians look at it. After extensive testing they have determined that one of my ram modules is to blame. I would like to know how to get the module warrantied by corsair? I have two modules (Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X2048-6400 2GB 2X1GB PC6400 DDR2-800 CL 5-5-5-12 240PIN DIMM), but only need to replace one. Do I need to send both modules back, or can I keep one and just have the bad one replaced? I found the following link to create a RMA Request, is this my next step? http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair/rma_request.html Thanks.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted March 19, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 19, 2007 Yes I would suggest submitting what you purchased and getting them replaced as a set. IE 1-Twin2x2048-6400.
