Hi

I need help now !!

I have been working with this fault in 6 month, and is now out of ideas.

I have made a gaming PC, but has not been able to get it to run correctly.

It is slow, and it can freeze then pushed.

I have memory problems.

I easy get over 5.000.000 Pagefaults,

and I might have a memory leak, or something.

-----

I read that Pagefaults is generated, then the system is out of memory, and uses Swapfile.

I then went from 2GB to 4GB of Ram.

-----

The ram was using the 5-5-5-15-2T

The pdf of the ram, says 4-4-4-12-2T

I have tried both manual setup.

-----

Testing the ram with the mem86 test from microsoft.

No problems

-----

I read, that it could be slow access to the swapfile.

So I went from 1 HD (Striping) to 2 HD(striping) , and placed the swapfile, on the other drive than XP.

-----

Installed watercolling on the CPU, Chipset and GPU.

The temp is now more stable, but the system is still slow.

-----

It programs with the highest Pagefault, is Battlefield 2, Internet Explorer, Norman. All programs using/about the internet.

There has been some problems with the Nforce "firewall"

I reinstalled XP, without the Nforce firewall.

Moved the network to the Intel NIC, and disabled the Nvidia NIC.

-----

Not then Vista have been launched,

I removed the sata/raid drives from the PC.

Then I have removed the raid controller,

and any driver problems with XP.

Installed Vista on an PCI HD.

I still get the many pagefaults ............

----

Now I am out of memory, and need help.

Is the a problem with this MOBO, and the type of RAM

Is there other setting I can try ?

That can I do to test furture ??
