Attn: RAYGUY,

Hi,

Hoping you can help!

I've recently replaced my Intel D975XBX2 Mobo with the new N680SLI-DQ6. Prior to the swap the system was stable under XP32 (with quad core Extreme CPU).

With the new setup I'm getting BSOD's approx 1 per hour - under both WinXP32 and WinXP64.

System has total of 4GB RAM - I've tried taking out 1 pair and it SEEMS to be OK (for now) (no crashes in last 2 hours).

One of the Microsoft Online Crash analysis's pointed to faulty RAM, with a suggestion that we run the Microsoft Memory tester - I ran it through 1 iteration with no probs (with full 4GB).

The BSOD's I've been getting are all over the place (no 2 the same), so I'm thinking hardware. RAM worked fine in last Mobo, so at this stage I'm thinking probably a RAM issue, but more one of compatibility.

Could you please advise as to whether this RAM should work OK with this Mobo (at the system defaults), and what (if any) custom timings / frequencies I should dial in?

Many thanks,

Mav.
