Warranty Question

Memory: VS1GSDS667D2

Laptop: Thinkpad T60

 

I got this memory from newegg last December. At the first week, the system collapsed frequently with blue screen. I thought that might be due to the sticker "value select" on the memory, so I removed it and the computer worked very well since then.

 

However, this morning I failed to reboot my laptop and before that the system displayed the blue screen. I unpluged the corsair memory and the computer worked well again. Then I reinstalled the corsair memory (no other memory), the computer failed to start. So I conclude that my memory must be bad now.

 

Maybe I need to request a replacement?

Hi! My RMA Number is R242206.

 

I shipped my bad memory to Corsair on 4/4/07, but got no news since then.

Am I supposed to wait longer?

Or is there any problem with my replecement?

How can I track the replacement?

I am sorry we can no longer check RMA status in Tech Support; please call our customer service at 888-222-4346 or 510-657-8747 Ext “0” or send them an email (rma@corsairmemory.com) with your RMA# and ask them for the status!
