Warrenty Help

I have read the FAQ and it says to check if my memory is under warrenty below. Well Im not sure what the below means (forums are listed so I'm trying here).

I have a stick of CMX1024-3200C2PT that is part of a matched set. This stick will not boot in 3 different machines i have tried (alone, or in a set). I have tried different slots in 3 different machines. I cannot run memtest as I cant get it to boot in any machine (all give mem error bios beeps). All three machines work fine with the two otehr sets of ram i have, all pass memtest.

This failed stick of ram worked for several months in this MB with this current setup. Nothing had been changed (hardware, bios or software in the last few weeks).

My question is: How do I know if my stick is under warrenty? Set was purchased from ZipZoomFly on March 22 06 and they list warrenty as manufacture. Do I need to do anything else before getting a RMA? If I understand right, I send in both sticks when I get the RMA, correct?

thanks

Clok

Thank you for the quick reply. I will RMA shortly, I need to wait on a second set i purchased (unfortantly My computer cannot be down for the RMA process as its a work machine) so I do not have downtime.

thanks Again!

  • 4 weeks later...

Ok memory was sent in and Delivered on 03/28/2007 and signed for by GARCIA. I was expecting some sort of reply or something. Its now been just a day or two short of 2 weeks and nothing. I have checked my junk mail and nothing is in that. Even if its oos or somthing i would expect a reply.

thanks
