P5N32-e plus with twin2x2048-6400

im using the above {just out of the box} with a Intel Core 2 Duo E6600..

also a Leadtek WinFast PX8800 GTS..

 

now at POST the computer HANGS after it asks you to press DEL or TAB for the bios...:mad:

 

does this memory work ? i dont know how to pass this....

 

:idea: a few {maybe 2-3 times} i got passed this..

 

do i need to rma it???? help

TWIN2X2048-6400 should work in the board just fine if you have good sticks. I believe it will run at 800 MHz DDR2 speed at 4-4-4-22-12-2T timings and 2.1V. Check "Corsair Compatibility Forum" for more information.

Please make sure that you have the latest bios and then load setup defaults and set the Dim Voltage to 2.0 volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and then test the module/modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. In addition, with this MB you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
