CM2X1024-6400 - not working

Dreamweaver

Recommended Posts

Hello!

In November 2006 I bought the Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400 Memory (XMS2 DDR2 RAM). Everything worked fine until last week.

My computer starts to reboot without a warning. I used another HDD and installed German Windows XP SP2 again just to see if it is a driver problem or a problem with some hardware... but the computer also rebooted again and again without a warning.

I thought it might be my graphics card because the windows crash dump told me that the nvidia nv4_disp.dll caused the problem - so i tried a PCIe ATI Card but the same problems.

So I build out every component in my PC - except the RAMs - that was the last ones I checked - and one of the RAM is bad:

The website of my internet-retailer is down and I don't know how to get any support here in Germany for my Corsair-RAMS.

Please help me... thanks.

PS: The other RAM Module (1GB) is fine, I also checked it with the Mem-Prog.

PS2: I am not an overclocker, everything is standard here - I think my Core2Duo is fast enough for the next 2 years. With one RAM the computer is fine and without problems...
