ASUS K8N-DL with CM72SD1024RLP DDR PC3200

Recommended Posts

Ramguy,

I currently have the ASUS K8N-DL with 2x1GB of Corsair CM72SD1024RLP memory.

I have upgraded to Vista x64 and want to take advantage of additional memory, most likely a total of 6GB.

I have read a bit about the TWINX2048-3200C2PT memory which according to the Corsair website is compatible with my motherboard.

1) By "replacing my existing memory with the TWINX2048-3200C2PT memory will I see a "significant" performance improvement.

2) In the context of #1, do you recommend upgrading to the TWINX2048-3200C2PT or just adding another 4GB of the CM72SD1024RLP memory.

3) Or would be it wise to add the TWINX2048-3200C2PT to my current CM72SD1024RLP.

My workstation stays on for 24x7, it's been rock solid for over a year now and it's my main "work" station as well as a small amount of gaming.

Thanks for the support.
