robertvw Posted February 16, 2007 Share Posted February 16, 2007 I'm using the asus p5n32-sli se deluxe board with 2 mirrored 150 gig raptor x drives and 4 gigs of xms2 2x 1 gig twin2x2048-6400 corsair ram sticks. when the operating system is loaded to one raptor drive the machine boots up fine, when I mirror the drives the machine posts showing all the ram but does not continue to windows. robertvw Posted February 17, 2007 Author Share Posted February 17, 2007 the ram is set to 667 but I found that one of the matched pairs of ram are bad, the only way that I was able to figure this out is that I'm building 3 identical machines and when i put the same two sticks in an identical machine I get the same problem. So it had nothing to do with the raid at all just bad sticks of ram. I bought 10 gigs of ram at the same time when good sticks are put in same machine it runs great.
