luke80
Hi, I know that at 675MHz (~337FSB) optimal settings are 4-4-4-12 @ 1.9V but what are optimal settings (timings and voltage) for this memory modules at 266MHz FSB? -- Lukasz
Yoxxy
Probably still 4-4-4-12. If you are running them lower you may try for 4-4-3-9 or 4-4-3-5. Always test with memtest. I highly doubt whether these will be able to do CAS Latency 3, but it is always worth a try.
luke80
Thanks for answer. That's strange since Twin2X 4300C3 has timings 3-3-3-8 @ 1.8V. I thought that 5400C4 working at lower FSB are comparable to 4300C3 and should work with similar settings. Am I wrong? And if answer is 'yes' then why? -- Lukasz
noztra
I Use my Corsair TWIN2X2048mb 5400C4, at 3-3-3-10, 2.05v with no problems.:sunglasse
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted May 8, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 8, 2007 I am sorry we can only promise the tested settings with any module set, sometimes they will run at more optimized settings but sometimes they will not.
