Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted January 24, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 24, 2007 Please make sure that you have the latest bios and then load setup defaults and then set the Dim Voltage to 2.1 volts (+.2 Volts W/Giga-Byte) and then test the module/modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. In addition, with this MB you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
Vos
i dont see a "DIM" voltage setting in the bios, could it be called something else?
Vos
changed the voltage to 2.1, and set the memory to pc800 5-5-5-12 ran memtest & isolated one bad module by running them one at a time. I just bought the ram through newegg, should RMA it through them or corsair? Thanks for all your help!
vinnie97
If you made the purchase within the last 30 days, RMA through Newegg.
